Ingredients (makes 8 pieces)
self-rising flour | 2 cups |
plain Greek yogurt | 1 Tablespoon |
water | ½ -3/4 cup |
salt | 1 teaspoon |
garlic granulated | 1 Tablespoon |
Melted ghee or oil for the pan |
Method of prep:
Mix together the dry ingredients with the flour in a large mixing bowl. Next, mix in the yogurt and half of the water with a wooden spoon or by hand. If the dough seems dry, add more water and kneed until you achieve a smooth dough ball. Divide the dough into 6 pieces and round into balls. Rest dough under a tea towel for 10 minutes. While the dough is resting, preheat a skillet over medium heat. Use a rolling pin that is lightly floured to roll dough into an oval shape. Brush the dough with oil or ghee and cook on the skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side. Brush with ghee and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
